Baby Massage Classes

The 4 week block of classes will teach you how to confidently treat your baby(s) to a beautiful massage. Each class is an hour long. There will be time for you to settle in, some time spent discussing a little theory and time for massage and play.  The classes are baby-led and no matter how much - or how little actual massage you manage to achieve during the class, you will be able to go home and feel confident to continue having fun and using these skills. You will receive full instruction and information about how to do what you have learnt at home with confidence.

This course is aimed at babies from birth up to 2 years, but older babies are welcome as massage benefits at any stage of childhood. The skills you will learn and the benefits you and your child will gain are valuable from the word go and throughout childhood.

Baby massage deeply enhances the connection and bond between the caregiver and baby. This course is open to any caregiver - Mum, Dad, Grandparents...

Do not worry if when you arrive your baby is not receptive to wanting a massage. It is the skills you will learn during the session and then, be able to take away that are important.  The classes are all about going with the flow and learning something exciting and new with your baby.

Cost:  £55 for a 4 week block. Includes a FREE bottle of NEALS YARD Baby Oil and information pack.

My Experience:  I have had a 20 year career teaching prior to opening The Healing Jay in 2022. I have also studied Child Development (NNEB) and have been a nanny in the UK, USA and Australia. In my teaching career I had many roles including SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator), a form tutor and subject leader. I am a fully qualified massage therapist and have qualifications in various aspects of massage including Advanced Musculoskeletal Anatomy and Baby Massage. I am also a Clinical Reflexologist, Clinical Aromatherapist and a Reiki Master Teacher.
